I'm Samira Zoobi, video and digital artist. Art has always been a passion of mine since I was young, since I could remember my response to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" is an artist. During my undergraduate career I got to go beyond traditional mediums and experiment with software like Adobe Photoshop to bring my art further into fruition. I've played around with nearly all of the Adobe Suite softwares and find myself going for Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Audition to further my creative projects. Now the images in my head can move. My dream is to be an artist, but my goal is to be a video essayist, focusing on everyday life and culture and diving deeper to create artistic documentaries to share with the world in hope of creating a more connected world.
